Last week Team SEQ helped Thrillist and Oceanspray host a virtual Friendsgiving. Two incredible chefs walked us through, step-by-step, how to make a restaurant-worthy Thanksgiving meal at home. If you want to get fancy with it you can do like Sequence and set up multiple cameras to make sure your guests get to see every angle of the delicious holiday dinner in the making. Don’t have the equipment for that? No problem! Just have the chefs perform for Zoom via webcam. No matter what, this kind of fun activity is good for groups of any size.
If creating an incredible meal doesn’t tickle your fancy, maybe the drinks that accompany it will. Last week’s virtual Friendsgiving included a skilled mixologist to show the viewers how to create their very own mocktails. Whether you like to eat together, drink together, laugh together, or all of the above, bringing your holiday event to the virtual stage allows for more time connecting with those you care about this holiday season.
Our Friendsgiving event inspired the Sequence team to tally up their absolute favorite holiday dishes. The winner? Mashed potatoes, of course! Stuffing and canned cranberry sauce were both a close second, though. We hope you get to eat all of that and more tomorrow.
